SPNA Steering Committee

The SPNA Steering Committee is a core group of dedicated volunteers who reside in Strachauer Park and and use their skills, time, and energy to help bring the Association’s purpose to life. 

As volunteers, Steering Committee members serve, unpaid, for two calendar years from their election at an Annual Meeting. They may be reappointed to additional terms.

Jen Biswas
Current Term Expires: 2025

Jen and her husband Rishi have three kids and a dog and have lived in Strachauer Park since March 2020. She and her husband run a digital marketing business. You can find her taking photos on her front porch for Instagram (@paisleyandsparrow). Be sure to stop and say hi!

Chris Bremer
Current Term Expires: 2024

Chris Bremer has lived in Strachauer Park since 1984. Originally from New York City, Chris enjoys reading, knitting, outdoor activities and travel. She'd love to connect with neighbors who know French and want to practice conversation skills.





Jen Hammer
Current Term Expires: 2025

Jen Hammer lives on York Ave. with her family. She grew up in Minneapolis before living abroad in Japan and Austria and spending ten years in New York City before returning to the Midwest. She's glad to be home making a difference in the place she loves best. 

Nicole Meehan (Chair)
Current Term Expires: 2025

Nicole and her family (husband and two kids) moved to Strachauer Park in September 2020. She is an active school and community volunteer and currently serves as Co-President of the Edina Early Learning Center PTO and a Community Builder for Buy Nothing Edina. Look for Nicole playing adventure explorer at the playground with her pre-schooler or poking around in the dirt in her yard as she works on her gardening skills.

Quincy Smith
Current Term Expires: 2024

Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Quincy earned his undergraduate degree from St. John’s University and MBA from the University of St. Thomas. He and his wife Andrea moved into the neighborhood in 2017 and have two children and a pandemic puppy, Zanzibar. Look for Quincy scootering, biking, or walking in the neighborhood in the evenings. He also serves on the Edina Planning Commission and is a Humphrey Public Policy Fellow.
