Strachauer Park Neighborhood Association and

Chowen Park Neighborhood Association

Welcome!

The Strachauer Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) serves approximately 310 households and 825 residents living in Strachauer Park, City of Edina. The neighborhood is bounded by France Avenue to the west, West 60th Street to the north, Xerxes Avenue to the east, and Highway 62 to the south.

The Chowen Park Neighborhood Association (CPNA) serves approximately 713 households and 1,620 residents living in Chowen Park, City of Edina. The neighborhood is bounded by Minnehaha Creek to the north, Xerxes Avenue to the east, West 60th Street to the south, France Avenue to the west.

Run entirely by volunteers, these two groups exist to foster community within our broader neighborhood. We know many neighbors don't distinguish between our two neighborhoods, which are officially divided at 60th St., so we work closely to collaborate on social events and communications (hence this shared website). We seek to facilitate connections and build relationships between neighbors and help communicate news, initiatives, and activities that may be of interest to neighbors living in Strachauer Park and Chowen Park.

There are no dues and no requirements to participate in our meetings or events/activities; involvement is completely voluntary. All are welcome — renters and homeowners alike for all events.

Want to be more involved or have an idea/suggestion? Please reach out to Nicole Meehan (SPNA) or David Litteken (CPNA).

Although we work together, SPNA and CPNA are technically separately recognized neighborhood associations by the City of Edina. But don't the fine print get in the way of making connections. Whether it's hosted in Chowen Park or Strachauer Park, we hope to see you at a neighborhood event sometime soon!
